CARA Award for Excellence in Teaching
Current winner of the CARA Award for Excellence in Teaching

The CARA Award for Excellence in Teaching Medieval Studies recognizes Medieval Academy members who are outstanding teachers who have contributed to the profession by inspiring students at the undergraduate or graduate levels or by creating innovative and influential textbooks or other materials for teaching medieval subjects.

This award of $1000 is presented at the Annual Meeting of the Medieval Academy.

The annual deadline for nominations is 15 November. Three nominators are required, one of whom should be a former student of the nominee. To submit a nomination, please fill out this form. Nominators must also submit a PDF document of 1-3 pages that details the nominee's accomplishments as a teacher, using the upload link at the end of the form.
