This newly revived series is devoted to bringing together the best articles in past issues of Speculum around a series of unified themes. Each volume will contain about six articles with a new introduction, bibliography, and illustrations. Initial plans call for the publication of one or two volumes a year aimed at upper-level undergraduate and graduate students and at nonspecialists.
