The Medieval Academy has been publishing books since 1928 in a variety of series. Books are now available in four series: Medieval Academy Books (MAB), which includes more than 100 volumes of editions and scholarly studies; Speculum Anniversary Monographs (SAM), fifteen monographs published between 1977 and 1989; Speculum Books, which are reprints of special issues of Speculum; and Medieval Academy Reprints For Teaching (MART), which the Academy publishes in collaboration with the University of Toronto Press.
